New Mills

In Peak Health clinic at New Mills has been established for over 20 years.

There is disabled access and plenty of parking available in the public car park that the surgery stands in, which is free for an hour (although a ticket is required.)

Be sure to book in at the In Peak Health office when you arrive through the first door on your right.

In New Mills we are linked with the local New Mills Tennis Club and offer a generous 20% discount to all their members.

We treat a wide variety of clients and conditions with an equally vast array of treatments. We see a lot of people with work-related problems whatever their job may be from roofers to office workers. If the problem is work-related we have a physiotherapist who is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics and specialises in workplace assessments, so Nicky Jackson will travel out and assess what the cause maybe in the work place and write a report of advice and recommendation to the employer.

Our Shockwave Therapy machine is at our New Mills clinic, this is very effective treatment for long standing tendon problems.

Given our proximity to the Peak District we see a lot of Fell runners who always amaze us with the variety of injuries they sustain to soft tissue and joints and the distances and terrain on which they run (meaning our rehabilitation must be top notch to meet their particular demands). We are linked with Goyt Valley Striders and are pleased to offer our 20% club discount to all members.

Climbers as well seem to sustain a wide variety of injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints to a wide variety of areas, shoulders and necks, lower backs and ankles. We are linked with the local Mynydd Climbing Club again offering our 20% club discount.
